Why isn't my subscription showing up?

Learn how Fishbox subscriptions work and why you may not see your subscription

💡 Fishbox offers two types of subscriptions

  1. Web Subscription
    Purchased on the Fishbox website, usually after completing the quiz before downloading the app.

  2. Store Subscription
    Purchased directly through the Fishbox app via Apple App Store or Google Play after downloading the app.

⚠️ These subscriptions are completely separate and are managed independently.


🌐 Web subscriptions

Website subscriptions are linked to your Fishbox account email address (your billing email).

To see a website subscription inside the app, you must be logged in using the same email address that was used during purchase.

⚠️ If you're using a different email address, the subscription will not appear.


📱 Store subscriptions

Store subscriptions are linked to:

  • Your Apple ID

  • Your Google account

They are not linked to your Fishbox account email address.

Because of this:

  • A store subscription will appear even if you're logged into Fishbox using a different email.

  • Changing Fishbox account emails will not affect a store subscription.

  • Store subscriptions will not appear on the Fishbox website.


❓ I'm using the correct email, but my subscription still isn't showing

Fishbox subscriptions are linked to the email address used during checkout (billing email), which may be different from the email you use elsewhere in Fishbox.

For example:

  • You may enter one email during the quiz.

  • Later, your phone or browser may automatically fill a different email during checkout.

  • The subscription becomes linked to the email used for the actual purchase (billing email).

Because of this, the email receiving Fishbox emails is not always the same email linked to your subscription.

If you can't find your subscription:

  • Check other email addresses you may use.

  • Check whether your device automatically filled a different email during checkout.


❓ I want to use my subscription on another device

Fishbox subscriptions can be used on multiple devices, but the way you access them depends on where they were purchased.

Web subscription

To access the subscription on another device, simply log in to Fishbox using the same email address that was used for the purchase.

Store subscription

To access the subscription on another device, sign in to the device using the same Apple ID or Google account that was used for the purchase.

⚠️ Please note that it is the Apple ID or Google account on the device that matters — not the Fishbox account email address.

⚠️ Store subscriptions cannot be transferred to a different platform (Android ↔ iPhone transfer)
